CASKS OF DISTINCTION

Casks of Distinction represents one of the industry’s most exceptional cask selections, supported by an extraordinary depth of stock and a rigorous selection process.

Each single cask is drawn from Diageo’s inventory across 48 distilleries, including rare stocks from closed distilleries such as Port Ellen, Brora and Convalmore. From an inventory of more than ten million casks, only a very small number progress beyond the initial selection.

Selected casks then undergo three years of targeted sampling and further evaluation. Diageo’s expert selection team makes the final decision, identifying the exceptional casks that qualify for the Casks of Distinction programme.
