Founded in Qingdao in 2020 as a whisky bar and enthusiasts’ club, The Whisky Firm has grown into an independent bottler and specialist in rare whisky casks. We source distinctive single casks and limited releases for collectors, private clients and trade partners, while offering cask selection, bespoke bottling and exceptional whisky experiences.

Our Team
Mo Meiling
Ms Mo Meiling began her career at Bloomberg in 2006 as a financial analyst. She subsequently joined China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, where she focused on product innovation and business development. She later joined LaSalle Investment Management, specialising in capital raising for private equity investments. Meiling currently manages an Asian family office.
Throughout her career as an investment professional, she has developed extensive experience in whisky cask investment. She holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick and an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Wang Chong
Mr Wang Chong is a whisky enthusiast, collector, brand ambassador, whisky columnist and international spirits competition judge. He is the founder of The Whisky Firm in China and Vice President of Shenzhen Jiuhe Spirits Co., Ltd., which introduces Milk & Honey Distillery, Bimber Distillery, The Whisky Agency and archival whisky products to the Chinese market. He holds a Master’s degree in International Business from Monash University, Melbourne, and has tasted over 3,000 whiskies, hosting dozens of tastings and masterclasses across Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xiamen and other major cities.
