Tasting Notes
Nose
Mature apple, yellow pear, almond and honey, followed by orange peel, roasted chestnut, dark chocolate, old leather and a gentle trace of smoke.
Palate
Rich and oily, with fruit preserve, orange marmalade and dark berries, supported by caramel, nuts, vanilla and warming pepper.
Finish
Long and warming, moving from honey and dark chocolate towards roasted nuts, tobacco and fine oak, with a fresh apple and citrus return.
